I know the band (predictably) imploded, but given their artistic cred ... a Cadillac commercial?!? Really?!? Who would have ever associated these guys with some luxury yuppy-mobile?!?

The sad thing is, if you were not a fan of this particular song, you probably don't even know who Hum is, or realize that the guitar riff lining the new Cadillac ads is anything more than studio music designed to sound like a rock band.

Granted, I'm sure they need the money, and they might not even control the song anymore, but this is one of those relatively underground grunge/alternative tracks that has absolutely nothing to do with the product it's being used for (Cadillac - Your Grandfather's Car).
