Cindy Sheehan was born in Inglewood and now resides in San Francisco. He earned an associate's at Cerritos College in 1992.
Sheehan has worked as a youth minister at St. Mary's Catholic Church and as coordinator for a Vacaville after-school program for at-risk middle school children.
Sheehan's son, Casey, was killed on April 4, 2004, while serving as a specialist in the 1st Cavalry unit in Sadr City, Iraq. He was 24 and was posthumously awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.
Sheehan is divorced.
