Joseph Visconti was born in Hartford and now lives in West Hartford. He earned an associate's at the University of Hartford in 1978.
Visconti has been running Joseph Visconti LLC, a general contracting company specializing in renovations and repairs for about nine years.
Visconti is a member of the West Hartford Town Council. He has worked on various community groups such as West Hartford Vision, the West Hartford Taxpayer's Association, the West Hartford Republican Town Committee and Save the Center, which informed residents about the Blue Back Square development.
