Chris Murphy is a graduate of Williams College with degrees in history and political science. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2002 and now lives in Cheshire.
Murphy was elected to the General Assembly in 1998 and to the state Senate in 2002. He's currently in his second term in the Senate, representing the communities of Waterbury, Wolcott, Cheshire and Southington.
He is single.
