David Cappiello is a lifelong resident of Danbury. He works as a mortgage loan officer at Flagstar Bank in Danbury.
Cappiello has been involved with the Lebanon-American Club, the Amerigo Vespucci Lodge, Portuguese Cultural Center, the Danbury Lions Club, Danbury Land Trust, American Red Cross of Western Connecticut and St. Anthony's Maronite Catholic Church.
Cappiello's wife, Christine, is a registered lobbyist at the state Capitol for Anthem Blue Cross and is a registered Democrat. The couple has two sons.
