Douglas "Doug" David Tudor was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and now resides in Riverside. He earned a bachelor's at the University of Maryland and a specialized law degree at Concord University.
Tudor was raised mostly in Danville, Ky., and he enlisted in the Navy three years after graduating from high school. His tours of duty included deployments in the Mediterranean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, as well as operations in the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean and the Red Sea.
Tudor retired from the Navy in February 2008 as a master chief petty officer. His wife, Paula, is an Air Force technical sergeant. They have three children.
