Daniel Paul Davis was born on Feb. 20, 1981 in Crawford County, Ill. and graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1999. He earned his associates degree in speech communications two years later from Southeastern Illinois College and also served as associate pastor at the Harrisburg First Baptist Church.
After earning his bachelor's degree in political science and speech communications from Southern Illinois University 2003, Davis now works with the Illinois Department for Public Health.
