Timmy Jay "Tim" Richardson Jr. was born June 24, 1981 in Hamilton, Ohio and graduated from Marshall County High School in Benton, Ken. in 1999. He and his family have lived in Lebanon, Ill. for three years.
Richardson began his military service in 1999 right after high school as a U.S. Navy seaman, eventually working his way up to a second-class petty officer. During Operation Iraqi freedom, he helped develop and install communications systems and satellite data exchange links used by intelligence agencies.
Richardson was later hired to serve as a Department of Defense contractor to support the United States Air Force.
He is married to wife, Melissa, and has two daughters.
