Michael "Mike" Anthony Montagano is a young lawyer hoping to unseat Rep. Mark Souder, who was first elected in northeast Indiana's Republican-leaning 3rd District in 1994.
Montagano earned a bachelor's degree in 2003 from DePauw University, where he majored in economics and political science. He earned a law degree from Indiana University School of Law in 2006 and was a Law and State Government Fellow.
Montagano was an attorney with the firm Stuart & Branigin but is now working full-time on his campaign.
Montagano and his wife, Bethany, live in Bristol.
