Jeff was born in 1952 and adopted by Ray and Christina Beatty. He received a bachelors degree from Rutgers University in 1974. After graduation, Beatty joined the Army. Beatty led rescue missions in Grenada to resuce American students from Cuban and Grenadian captors. After he retired from the military, he was recruited to the FBI in 1983 to work in the Hostage Rescue Team. In 1985, the CIA recruited him as an operations manager. He left the CIA in 1992 to found TotalSecurity.US. He ran the anti-terrorism consulting firm for 12 years. TotalSecurity.US worked on events like the Rose Bowl and The Superbowl.
