On the Issues

Do you support the state ballot initiative that would bring slot machines to Maryland?

No response given.

Why should voters elect you?

As a prosecutor, I make decisions based on facts and principles, not partisan politics. We need more of that to change Washington.

What is the most urgent problem facing your district?

Our economy desperately needs a boost. Families are dealing with skyrocketing costs at the pump, higher health-care costs and a mortgage meltdown, all while paychecks are becoming seemingly smaller and smaller. To me this signals that we need legislators who are willing to work across the aisle in a bipartisan manner, to make some progress and get us back to a robust economy that delivers economic security for families. Partisan rhetoric won't address these challenges.
