Jeffrey Richard Parnell was born in Wichita, Kan., but spent most of his childhood in Garrison in Christian County. He now resides in Rogersville.
Parnell earned a bachelor's in business administration at Evangel University in 2004.
Parnell worked in and managed retail tire stores for years before opening his own business, Jeff Parnell Tire LLC, in Springfield in 2005. He also has written, recorded and performed several songs and CDs. He and his wife, Nan, have two children.
