Christopher S. Sander was born in Fenton and now resides in Ellsville. He graduated from Lindbergh High School in St. Louis and has attended several colleges but does not have a degree.
Sander went to work for an office supply company at age 21 and was eventually promoted to upper management. In 1993 he became vice president of operations for Mortgage Processing Services Inc. At age 30, he formed his own company, IMS Mortgage Services LLC.
Sander has served in several roles for the Missouri Association of Mortgage Brokers, including president. He says that during his term as president, he was a proponent for professional ethics and consumer protection. He and his wife, Kelly, have two children.
