Robert Goodman is a native of the Bronx. He graduated from Columbia University and earned a doctorate from the New York Medical College.
Goodman has worked in medicine and medical care since 1989. He is now a lecturer at Mercy College. From 1997 to 1999, he was the New York City Commissioner of Deeds.
