David Robinson, 46, was born on Long Island, N.Y., and lives in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in honors accounting from Ohio State University in 1984. He received his master's degree in theological studies from The Chicago Theological Seminary in 1991. In 2002, he received a doctorate in theology and psychology from Emory University.
Robinson is vice president of a small Columbus-based manufacturing company, Marcy Enterprises, Inc., which specializes in adhesive tape technologies.
Robinson is single.
