Bradley Leavitt, 34, was born in 1974 in Visalia, Calif., and now lives in Toledo, Ohio.
He joined the U.S. Navy in 1992. After his discharge five years later, Leavitt began working with a steel company in Memphis, Tenn. He moved to Ohio in 2000 to work at North Star BHP Steel in Delta, near Toledo.
Leavitt and his wife, Jenelle, have one son.
