Michael Skelly was born in Manchester, England, and now resides in Houston. He earned a bachelor's at Notre Dame and a MBA from Harvard University. He also served in the Peace Corps.
Skelly serves on Houston Mayor Bill White's Green Building Advisory Committee, he is a longtime member of the board of the American Wind Energy Association, and he has served on the boards of several other companies and nonprofit organizations.
Skelly and his wife, Anne, have three children.
