I was in around 6:35 and out by 7:10. So no issues as far as a long wait time. However, I noticed none of the volunteers were asking to see voter registration cards/ID. N.C. Poll Closing Times Extended

State: North Carolina

Two North Carolina polling places had their closing times extended after delays this morning. In one case in Raleigh, an election official accidentally left the ballots in her grandson's truck, delaying voting in that precinct by more than an hour and forcing 300 people to wait. Another precinct in Durham will stay open an extra 20 minutes after a power outage this morning. Apparently, that move contradicts state election law. (Raleigh News & Observer) Read More »
