Bio

This is Klain's second stint as chief of staff for a vice president of the United States. With the exception of the drawn-out vote recount fight in Florida after the 2000 Presidential election, Klain has spent his entire professional career in Washington, both in and out of government. After the 2000 election, Klain joined Washington law firm O’Melveny and Myers as a partner. While there, he lobbied for a number of clients, including Fannie Mae, Time Warner and US Airways. Klain left the law firm in 2005 to become vice president and senior counsel for Revolution LLC, a company created by AOL co-founder Steve Case.
