Bio

Weich has had a long history in civil rights law, acting as a lobbyist for the American Civil Liberties Union and as an outspoken critic of some of the post-9/11 policies allowing for military tribunals instead of trials for suspected terrorists. He began his career as an assistant district attorney in New York City, but has spent much of the past decade working as counsel to a variety of Democratic senators, most recently Majority Leader Harry Reid.
