Jamie Lynn Fallon's career began with basic training at Great Lakes, Ill. From there, the 23-year-old Woodbridge native spent three months at the Naval Technical Training Center in Meridian, Miss., followed by a stint at the naval Computer and Telecommunications Station in Bahrain.

Fallon spent more than two years on the USNS Concord, a fleet support ship, before moving to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations Support Activity at the Pentagon.

Fallon, a petty officer third class, was a storekeeper.
