Bennett for the term ending January 3, 1975; reelected in 1980 and again in 1986 and served from December 21, 1974, to January 3, 1993; not a candidate for reelection in 1992; chairman, Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs (Ninety-seventh through Ninety-ninth Congresses); payload specialist aboard the space shuttle Discovery 1985; is a resident of Salt Lake City, Utah.
