Found Contraband

The Metropolitan Police Department provided only the first 255 characters of the narrative from the police report. The narratives were only provided for some incidents during the current school year.

The police use "S1" for the first subject of the report, "C1" for the first complainant and "W1" for the first witness.

Cardozo High School January 25, 2007 On the above date and time W1 observed S1 and S2 passing a shotgun shell to each other. Once S1 and S2 was confronted about it, they proceeded to hand it over to W1 with no problem. W1 then took the shell to the main office where it was turned over
Kelly Miller MS January 25, 2007 On the above date and time while conducting after school dismissal C1 recovered a knife laying on the street and turned the knife over to MPD. School administration was notified of the matter.
Patricia R Harris Ed Center January 19, 2007 On the above date and time while on perimeter Officer Waters and Sgt. Cole found 2 wet cigarettes resembling substance in a bag and a bag of brown curshed leafy substance with seeds and stems. Items were turned over to MPD Officer Ron Wilson.
Deal Junior High School January 11, 2007 S1 put his black and gray bookbag in the x-ray and suspected fire crackers showed. SRO was notified.
Deal Junior High School December 12, 2006 C1 WAS OUTSIDE AND BRITTNEY BARBY TOLD HER TO CHECK HER WALLET, THEN SHE REALIZE THAT HER BUS PASS WAS MISSING C1 SAID SOMEONE TOOK IT.
Benning Elementary School October 10, 2006 C-1[Male/Custodian] reported to Security [Female] that he was patrolling the school grounds when he found a small ziploc bag on the curb in front of the school with 2 white rocks inside appearing to be crack-cocaine. MPD was notified, responded and state None
Takoma Educational Center September 13, 2006 C-1[Female/Educational Aide] reported to Security [Male] that while lining up the students on the basketball court to enter the building she noticed two CO2 canisters [used for BB guns] lying on the basketball court. School assigned MPD was informed and Referred to MPD
Brightwood Elementary School August 29, 2006 C-1 [Female/Teacher] stated that she exited the building at the close of school. C-1 stated that she walked on to the early childhood playground and discovered a Bullet casing. Security was notified. MPD was notified, responded and completed a report. None
