Repair Requests

Since 2001, repair work order requests are kept in a central database under the public schools facilities management department. As of this spring, the database included 52,000 completed work orders and 11,000 pending requests. More than 1,100 of the pending repair work orders are classified with words like "urgent" or "dangerous." The data provided by DC Public Schools does not include costs for the repairs.
