On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

The lack of oversight of and responsiveness from the public county education system, which has been sued four times in the past five years, three times same board; same school system is currently responsible for 24 percent of college-bound students needing remedial education. This system needs to raise expectations, educate every one "up" and start realizing that demographics do not need to define the destiny of our children.

Why should voters elect you?

Independent thinking, creative problem-solving and professional capability will allow me to introduce a more analytical approach to managing our school system and driving success.
