On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

For the Ashburn district, the passage of the school bond on the ballot in November to relieve overcrowding. The new high school in Lansdowne will need a school board member with experience to ensure that community concerns and the facilities' impacts are addressed throughout the process. We will need to work within limited future budgets to continue Loudoun's excellence in education. A board member has to be able to work with the other board members to address the needs of the system. I have the experience and business background to ensure our district needs are met.

Why should voters elect you?

I am the only candidate with board experience, including having been selected by my peers to serve as chairman of the school board.
