On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Securing school sites and constructing (maintaining) schools is the most urgent problem facing Catoctin. In 2007 the voters approved a bond to acquire land for the next high school in western Loudoun. Though attempts have been made to secure sites for schools north of Rt. 9, they have not been successful. The district had an urgent need for four schools when I was elected. While these schools are online or soon to be online, the sites for the remaining schools must be purchased. Our older schools must also be properly maintained. Furthermore, Ashburn must bring its high school students home.

Why should voters elect you?

I am a representation of Loudoun's heritage: native, taxpayer, teacher, parent, neighbor, volunteer and steward. I am committed to our county and my district.
