On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

It is the ongoing battle to ensure that the necessary resources are invested in our schools and teachers, to allow our children the greatest opportunity to achieve their potential. The construction of county facilities has not kept pace with the exponential population growth experienced by Loudoun citizens over the last 10 years. Loudoun schools are the most affected county department, and our children's future is at stake. As the Board of Supervisors works on expanding the tax base with a business-friendly economic development plan, the School Board will seek a more efficient means of providing quality education for our children.

Why should voters elect you?

Based on my record of leadership on educational and community issues, commitment to students, teachers and schools, and my extensive technological, programmatic and budgetary expertise.
