On the Issues
What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
In the Brentsvillle District specifically, the most urgent issue is effective, long-range planning to consistently keep pace with the rapid development taking place in the western end and to continue building new schools every year. For PWC schools countywide, the most urgent issue is reducing class sizes and the student-teacher ratio to improve student performance. Student learning occurs in individual classrooms, therefore we must continue to directly focus our dollars in those classrooms where they will have the biggest impact on student performance and excellence.
Why should voters elect you?
I have a proven record of conservative, fiscally sound solutions, including building seven new schools and the most comprehensive concussion-management program protecting our student athletes.
