On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Although there are several issues facing the Brentsville District, perhaps the most important problem we have is the overcrowding of our schools. When planning and approving new schools, we have failed to build them with enough capacity to meet the needs of our community. Prince William County has seen great growth during the past decade, and this trend will continue for us, despite the economic downturn still affecting the rest of the country. By simply building new schools 10 percent larger, we can meet the growth demand of the Brentsville District without installing trailers or increasing class size.

Why should voters elect you?

I'm a proven community leader with sound ideas and a sensible plan to implement them. I am the best candidate to represent the Brentsville District.
