On the Issues
What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
The most urgent problem facing the Gainesville District is representation. Two years ago, I began thinking about running for School Board because of a widening disconnect between the people of the district and our elected School Board member. President Lincoln considered 'government of the people, by the people and for the people' important enough to include in the last line of his speech at Gettysburg. The parents, students, teachers and residents in the Gainesville District need to have confidence that the person they have elected to represent them is actually looking after the very real needs and concerns that they have.
Why should voters elect you?
I'll listen and work to be a good steward for the taxpayers. I will represent the parents, students, teachers and residents of the Gainesville District.
