On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

A budget that will continue to support building schools and providing programs is the primary concern. Our student population is increasing yearly. We are building new schools and renovating older buildings to ensure that we have adequate facilities to house students and provide for the various specialty programs that are offered. Our goal is to eliminate modular classrooms. Adequate funding must be provided to ensure that optimal learning opportunities are available to every student. We will strive to continue to be a world-class educational system.

Why should voters elect you?

My 50 years of experience as a parent, teacher, administrator and board member provide me with expertise to continue as an effective School Board member.
