On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

As applied to the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, the biggest problem is a loss of trust in its leadership. Loudoun voters need to have faith in the criminal justice system and in the good judgment of their chief prosecutor. As a former prosecutor and substitute judge, I have the experience, perspective and good judgment needed to restore the public's respect and trust. As to specific policy proposals, I would improve outreach to crime victims and witnesses, prioritize juvenile criminal cases to better prevent repeat offenders and reduce gang involvement, and trim the office's budget, which has grown much faster than caseload.

Why should voters elect you?

As a former Loudoun prosecutor and substitute judge, I have the experience and good judgment needed to provide new leadership to the commonwealth's attorney's office.
