On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

The most urgent problem facing the Coles District and Prince William County is residential overdevelopment. As a result, we suffer from rising taxes to subsidize public services and infrastructure for new development, congested roads, overcrowded schools, an influx of people working illegally in our community, dwindling open space and a weak tax base that includes far too little high-wage commercial development. The board of supervisors needs members who don't make themselves beholden to the wishes of special interests bearing large campaign contributions but instead serve the interests of the taxpayers and citizens of our community, and promote balanced economic development.

Why should voters elect you?

I offer decades of experience in finance, economic development and land use, and independence from the special interests that have been driving our community's future.
