On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Our education system is in the cross hairs of steep budget cuts across the state. Equipping our children with the skills and tools they need to compete in our knowledge-based economy will be crucial to the continued growth and vitality of Fairfax County. Good schools have a broad impact in our community, including sustaining property values.

Why should voters elect you?

Experience. I have a successful record as a School Board member. As supervisor, I'll continue to fight for schools, environment, transportation solutions and fiscal responsibility.
