On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

We want to maintain our strong schools and safe communities. We need economic growth to fund these services. Growth is dependent on strong infrastructure, including transportation. Local roads are deteriorating, and our state-managed system is not up to the task of fixing them. We need local control of local roads to fill potholes, repave older roads, cut the grass, plow snow and repair storm drains and sidewalks. This requires a new relationship between the state and local governments, and I will help bring that about.

Why should voters elect you?

I have the community leadership experience that will get people involved in their community and local government, and I am open to innovative transportation solutions.
