On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Provide adequate funding to ensure a quality education for all children; revitalization of Route 1 to include rail through the corridor; push for alternative sources of revenue to reduce reliance on real estate taxes; support and expand services to meet needs of our increasing population of seniors such as respite care, recreation, transportation and medical services and implement the recommendations of the Mount Vernon Visioning Task Force concerning education, human services, housing and community development, business and economic development, public safety, transportation, environment, parks and recreation and land use.

Why should voters elect you?

I've successfully included the residents and communities of Mt. Vernon in all levels of the decision-making process, and together we have achieved positive results.
