On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Providing necessary infrastructure such as schools and transportation solutions while keeping already high local taxes under control is the biggest challenge facing the next Loudoun BOS. This must be accomplished while maintaining the county's AAA credit rating to ensure the lowest costs of capital. We must think differently about how we provide and fund these requirements, re-prioritize county spending and shift county revenue sources through economic development efforts. This not only creates local jobs but also provides new revenues, alleviating our over-reliance on residential property tax revenues. We must make it easier for businesses to do business and make investments in Loudoun.

Why should voters elect you?

Proven leadership with extensive experience in public policy on behalf of Loudoun across a spectrum of issues locally, in Richmond and in Washington.
