On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Paying for the costs of rapid growth over the past 20 years and managing future growth in ways that are affordable. Meeting this need requires more efficient budgets to sustain high-quality schools as student population increases, affordable taxes with an increased commercial tax base, efficient government services spurred by a small office of accountability, clean and affordable ground and surface water, transportation focused on the needs of Loudoun residents first (and notably east-west congestion), and a secure, growing rural economy that continues to provide tourism, farm products, small-business opportunities and net revenue to the county.

Why should voters elect you?

As a moderate and pragmatist, I've engaged in Loudoun's school, transportation, energy, water and rural economy issues every year, every month, for eight years.
