On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Taxes are too high, and there is too much spending and hurtful anti-Sterling policies. The Loudoun board spends too much on wasteful programs when Sterling needs a renovation of the old Sterling Fire and Rescue Station for the safety of its volunteers. Misguided policies promoting "golf carts" must end; they stall real transportation improvements such as fully funded dedicated turn lanes at Sterling Boulevard and Route 7. Sterling has overcrowded houses that threaten single-family zoning, and criminal penalties and next-day enforcement must be considered. And we need more sidewalks, faster and sooner.

Why should voters elect you?

I promise not to vote to raise taxes. I have not for 12 years and will not in the next four years.
