On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

The economy. Prince William County is recognized by CNNMoney as the No. 2 D.C. metro county for consistently strong job growth. But our local prosperity hinges on lowering residential and commercial taxes while continuing to invest $200 million in transportation infrastructure, new school construction, public safety and creating new employment opportunities. Our housing market is on a slight upswing with a small gain in assessments. Despite the county's strong financial position during the recession, as the nation's debt continues to mount, we face a challenge to our bond rating and advance local economic development momentum.

Why should voters elect you?

Proven track record to create opportunities for our families to work, buy a home, raise and educate our children here. Hard work. Real results.
