On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

While improving our transportation network is our most pressing challenge, we must continue to maintain our excellent schools, keep our streets and neighborhoods safe, and address environmental issues in our region. Our challenge lies in balancing these issues while engaging our community in the process and making sure taxes are kept affordable for our residents. Fairfax County has an exceptional quality of life, with beautiful parks and libraries and recreational opportunities for our residents. Careful fiscal stewardship will be required to maintain that balance.

Why should voters elect you?

I have the experience, commitment and skill needed to continue to lead our board as Fairfax County evolves and matures.
