On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

I have worked in Gov. Bob McDonnell's administration to address our commonwealth's most urgent problem, namely, the need for good-paying jobs and quality economic development. To spur economic growth and job creation, we must address our regional transportation needs without burdening our citizens and employers with new taxes. During this past legislative session in Richmond, McDonnell did precisely that. Previously, as chairman of the Loudoun County Economic Development Commission, I worked to create jobs by bringing nationally known corporations to our region. As delegate, I will continue to advocate for laws promoting economic development and high-paying jobs.

Why should voters elect you?

I am a trustworthy, experienced, conservative and dedicated community leader who has worked to achieve meaningful results as a member of Gov. Bob McDonnell's administration.
