On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Radical conservatives are threatening our values in Northern Virginia and the commonwealth. Their anti-education, anti-choice, anti-family, anti-LGBT, poor economic policies and environmentally destructive actions require a true progressive to continue the fight already begun. We need stronger, earlier education for our children. Republicans are determined to degrade women's health services. LGBT families are not equal. The GenOn Power Plant continues to affect our health. Poor transportation and traffic impede our economic growth. I have the temperament to build coalitions and the courage, expertise and strategy to make sure we hold strong on these issues and move Virginia forward.

Why should voters elect you?

As delegate and a dedicated member of this community, I would use our progressive values to keep Virginia a place for freedom, equality and prosperity.
