On the Issues
What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
We need to grow the Virginia economy, creating significantly more jobs across the commonwealth, especially high-demand, high-paying jobs. The resulting revenue must be used to restore the 20 percent education cuts we've experienced over the last 10 years and ensure that health services are funded at the right level. This is especially important to areas such as the 10th district that are heavily dependent on federal government employment. Virginians are educated and highly skilled and are well-positioned to out-educate and out-innovate the rest of the country and the world. Virginia can, and will, remain prosperous and the best place to live.
Why should voters elect you?
I have legislative experience and have held other leadership positions. I am known as a strong leader willing to work with others to solve problems.
