On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

I have worked in Gov. Robert F. McDonnell's administration to address our most urgent problems: jobs and economic development. To spur economic growth and job creation, we need to fix our transportation problems and keep taxes low. I was part of the governor's team that passed a transportation bill this year providing $4 billion in new funding without raising taxes. As chairman of the Loudoun County Economic Development Commission, I worked to create jobs by bringing corporations, such as AOL and Orbital Sciences Corp., to Loudoun. As delegate, I will continue to advocate for job-creating economic growth.

Why should voters elect you?

I am a trustworthy, experienced and dedicated community leader who has worked hard both locally and in the McDonnell administration to achieve meaningful results.
