On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

The most urgent problem facing the 31st district is transportation. We need new and innovative ways to get our roads moving. We need a dedicated source of transportation funding to maintain our roads and grow our infrastructure. And we need to make sure Northern Virginia gets the appropriate share of transportation dollars. But beyond that, and perhaps most importantly, we have to think outside the box about solutions that will benefit our commute times, our wallets and our environment. I will fight to extend Metro to Woodbridge and invest in Bus Rapid Transit to keep our roads moving.

Why should voters elect you?

As a transportation professional, I have worked on innovative solutions across the country and will bring that experience to Richmond as your delegate.
