On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

The economy. As I go door to door throughout the district, the top thing I hear is keeping jobs our top priority. We passed a package of job incentive bills, and Virginia is now No. 1 for jobs. We balanced the budget without raising taxes and created a surplus. A big challenge we have now is the uncertainty in the business climate because of the threats from Washington on taxes, mandates, forced unionization and increased regulations on a whole host of businesses as we face our own budget challenges.

Why should voters elect you?

I have demonstrated the leadership to focus on our top priorities of jobs, roads and schools. I have a proven record of delivering results.
