On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

The most urgent problem facing the 34th District is our lack of adequate transportation infrastructure and increasing traffic congestion. Residents of this area spend hours of their days commuting to and from work without any end in sight to the increasing congestion. Many residents also do not have access to any public transit options. I support widening Route 7; providing walk/bike paths and shuttle buses to new Metro stations; and the completion of the rail to Dulles project. I believe that both the commonwealth and the federal government need to invest in Phase II of the project.

Why should voters elect you?

I will take to Richmond my three decades of community leadership experience of working with people to get things done to bring about positive change.
