On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Our most urgent problem is our jobs and the economy. In my jurisdiction that is most evident in our incomplete transportation planning, which will hurt our economy. We need to have an "all-of-the-above," yet balanced approach to Northern Virginia transportation needs. Our focus needs to include road and bridge safety and improvement, and not just reliance on mass transit to solve our congestion and mobility issues. We need to focus more state resources on keeping our economic engine moving forward. Congestion affects our livelihood, our ability to move, our pocketbooks and our quality of life.

Why should voters elect you?

I will represent Northern Virginia's families and businesses. I am a bipartisan consensus builder who will fight to get more dollars back for Northern Virginia.
